Jelly are happy to share with you a real briefing document from an advertising agency for a major TV campaign pitch. The ultimate purpose of a creative treatment is to take the client through your vision, get them excited about jointly working with you whilst re-assuring them you understand what they are looking for. 

Your job is to then create a well-designed treatment deck that would encourage the client to choose your team’s collective vision for the project. Thanks, we are excited to see your efforts and ideas!

Please include the following in your treatment deck

  • Introduction to team and roles and responsibilities
  • Character design sketches, with names and some information
  • Cheesy character designs
  • A branding page – showing the logo and perhaps some packaging ideas
  • A page on sustainability and ethical design – this could be about the packaging and the materials you might use or the content of the cheesy biscuit ingredients. You will need to include some research here on sustainability and ethical design in the packaging and biscuit industry.
  • 10 story board frames that will show the start of the ad, moving through the town and including a few funny things happening and ending with your biscuit logo.
